Mantra......I'm ROCK!!!

I went for a rock climbing at Batu Cave yesterday with EXIT, and i started to fall in LOVE with these rock thing. We climb two route(of coz' the beginner route), of coz with the help of EXIT's friends(Maceng n Rais). The first route is more like am-i-gonna-make-it. And guess what, i made it, never thought that i'm gonna reach to the top. These route really need a good grab and hand strength rather then your feet. As a present, it cause numb on my both-hand, i'm paralysed for awhile. But i just smile with satisfaction.... these thing is really cool!! I mean it.

They've tried to set up for the second routes. It was one of the most difficult route i ever see with just a few crack here and there. Then we just begged and demand (har3...poor these guy, but they really sporting lah!!) for the third route which EXIT choose by herself. For taking too much time for the second route to be set up and waiting for the third route. My hand(pernah tergeliat & patah..hehe) is still not ok, my eating timing is in the limit, and i've felt sleepy (maybe dehydrate!!). I've told EXIT....."menyesal lak tak bawak beehon goreng mummy ko tu."... Exit reply.. "..hmm tu laa, dah laa sotong dia besar2." I just like what.... sotong is my favourite food!! Gorrsshhh!!

To hell i'm gonna make with these route, my concentration is .... at home, in the freezer, with those beehun. Exit climb first, second is ADIK@Farah, and then my turn. I just like, sure not gonna reach to the top with this one, which is much higher then the first one, and it look sooo afar from the place i was standing. I climb it anyway!! I just repeat my mantra..... beehun goreng.... beehun goreng.... beehun goreng!!.... Then EXIT whom belayed me shout... "Woi slow sikit!!" Ouk.. OK! I reply... then repeat again .... beehun goreng... beehun goreng... behun goreng!! And then suddenly..... aik dah sampai. I asked exit...sini kerr!! Yer lah.... she reply with stern face. I wisper to myself again.... aik dah sampai, mcm tak percaya jerr!!

I was thinking 6 years ago, when my GODFATHER asked what is rock climbing! The answer is.... not about the rock, the cernmantle rope, the equipment, it just....... PROBLEM SOLVING. Menyelesaikan masalah untuk mencapai ke arah tujuan kita, to the top, to the last chech point. In many route we choose, how difficult it was, how much burden we carried, at the end we will reach to the top, in our own style, how long the time is take is always depend on us.!!

Another important advised my godfather gave is ..... its against the rules to do rock climbing without a belayer, the person whom you trust the most. Sure is... in our life we always need someone to trill the adventures with us..... they are FAMILY and FRIENDS that we trust!!....
